We exist to give individuals, families and business owners a calm, considered second voice on the financial decisions that shape the next twenty or thirty years — supported by serious investment capability and a single accountable relationship.

Dynamic Consult is an authorised independent Financial Services Provider (FSP 54508). We hold direct relationships with South Africa's leading asset managers and product houses — Ninety One, Old Mutual, Sanlam, Discovery, Momentum, Liberty, BrightRock and Capital Legacy — and our portfolios are professionally managed in partnership with an established institutional discretionary house.
The firm is deliberately built for long client relationships rather than transaction volume. Steady investment oversight, a modern digital client experience and clear, ongoing communication are part of how we work — they are not extras.
The team is small and intentionally grown, organised around investment, advice and a personal client-service relationship.

John Vermaak

Dynamic Consult is led by John Vermaak, a licensed Key Individual holding RE1, RE3 and RE5 regulatory examinations, with a Postgraduate Diploma in Financial Planning Law (NQF 8) from the University of the Free State — and a career built across South Africa's largest financial institutions before going independent.
John spent over a decade in financial advice at Sanlam, Old Mutual and Fairbairn Consult, working within independent FSP models and developing deep familiarity with institutional investment processes, compliance structures and long-term client stewardship. Before moving into financial services, he spent fifteen years in senior corporate sales and marketing leadership roles in the FMCG industry — a background that shaped a practical, commercial approach to complex decisions.
Dynamic Consult obtained FSP licensing from the FSCA regulator in December 2024. The firm exists because important financial decisions deserve more than a product recommendation — they deserve a long, careful conversation with someone who knows your circumstances and remembers them next year, and the year after.
